What is Seven-Segments and 7S modules?
We started this project with a deep passion for 1970s-era quartz timekeeping, especially vintage LED watches. After collecting, restoring, and working with these watches for many years, we decided to combine our electronics and design expertise to create something new. That is how Seven Segments was born.
Seven Segments develops new LED watch modules and replacement modules for vintage LED watches, including Pulsar LED watch replacement modules, Synchronar replacement modules, Omega LED watch modules, and Hamilton LED watch replacement modules.
Our 7S LED watch replacement modules are designed to preserve the character and appearance of original 1970s LED watches while using modern electronics for improved reliability, functionality, and power efficiency.
7S modules are fully magnet-activated and include AUTO-SET functionality, which can be enabled or disabled by the user. With our new LED watch modules, you can set your SYNCHRONAR, OMEGA, PULSAR, or HAMILTON LED watch without removing it from your wrist.
Our vintage LED watch replacement modules use all-new integrated circuits (ICs) and are programmed for ultra-low power consumption using Deep Sleep mode, helping provide extended battery life while retaining the distinctive operation of classic LED watches.
We are continuously developing and improving our modules. We are currently working on the PULSAR P4 replacement module layout, and additional vintage LED watch replacement modules are planned for the future.
We are also developing a completely new watch inspired by the appearance, proportions, and character of original 1970s vintage LED watches, while incorporating newly designed electronics and modern functionality.
The PCB components are factory-assembled. LED displays and reed switches are hand-soldered, and every 7S module is individually hand-assembled, inspected, programmed, and fully tested before being shipped to the customer.
All Seven Segments 7S LED watch replacement modules include a one (1) year warranty. The warranty does not cover original vintage LED displays or original reed switches.
Our aim is to keep classic Pulsar, Synchronar, Omega, Hamilton, and other vintage LED watches running and wearable by providing modern replacement electronics while preserving the unique experience of these iconic 1970s timepieces.
